Just Like You
04:01
|
|||
Just Like You
You live in the moment, cause yesterday's gone
You know how to be still, you know how to move on
Never in a hurry, though time ticks away
You can see the horizon, and it'll come in it's day
We walk among the ruins of life's battlefield
It doesn't seem to touch You, cause You know what's real
Looking past the surface of the good and the bad
You're raising up your arms and outstretching your hands
CH
To be like You
To feel like You
To dance like You
To sing like You
To talk like You
To smile like You
I dream oh to be
Just like You
(that's what I wanna do)
You move my soul without forcing control
You bring the wine, it's the best every-time
You touch the untouchables, You hold them so close
You regard your friends with mercy and forgive 'em when their wrong
CH
When I'm feeling faint, You never grow weary
When I think I can't, You reach out to me

Soul
03:16
|
|||
Soul
Maybe it's better not seeing what's going on inside,
It gets kind of dark in there, kind of bad on the eyes,
Deep as a wishing well, it's windy and cold
But if it gets too still you know somethings wrong
Soul is a place, Angels hover
Good or bad, they all run for cover
Sin and redemption drive the streets of this town
Soul
Everybody's got it, not all believe it
Some try to deny it, some to deceive it
It's the heart of the heart, the thoughts of the mind
The dream that you dream about the land before time
Soul is a place, Angels hover
Good or bad, they all run for cover
Sin and redemption drive the streets of this town
Soul
Truth sets it free
Gives it a mission
Every battle is for its affection
Some days you win, some days you lose,
The secret is hidden in how you choose, Soul

Is It Me
04:23
|
|||
Is it Me
Everything changed in this world of mine
When I saw You walking down that old shoreline
Threw down the nets and I followed You close
I left everything behind, You said "follow me", I cried!
Is it me, is it me that You're calling on?
How can that be, no, You must be wrong
Say You want me walking by Your side
Well I can't figure out why, cause I'm full of sin and pride!
HEY HEY HEY!
Days turned to months and months turned to years
You walked on water, You calmed our fears
Healed the sick and You raised the dead
You said I could do the same, surely not me I exclaimed!
Is it me, is it me that Your counting on
How can that be I'm just flesh and bone
A fisherman without words to say
How could I love that way, I'd need amazing grace!
HEY HEY HEY!
Whoever said that making sense is what it's about in this world of men?
I never dreamed someone like me would be a part of a plan to free
everyone that You call.
That night we were alone in that room together
Breaking bread and drinking wine
You said it was the last time that we'd be together
Tears fell when You said You must die
Now John leaned over upon Your breast
Asked You why You said that and what You meant
When You said someone here would betray Your love
I cried as I fell on my knees, IS IT ME!?
Is it me, is it me who will do this thing
I'd rather die than to bring you pain
You're the reason I've come to believe
That I wanna live this life, please tell me it's not I!
Hey Hey Hey!
Is it me, is it me that You're counting on
With You by my side I will carry on
There's hope in my world though it's dark tonight
Cause I know that You're ALIVE!
HEY HEY HEY

Wherever You're Going
05:08
|
|||
Wherever You're Going
In the channels of the dark sea
Down the mountainside that's rocky and steep
In the currents that carry black crows
In the dream come true or the dream dead and gone
In the heartaches that tear at your soul
In the roses and wine or the blessings untold
With reason, and when reason is gone
When faith's all you have and it's hard to move on
Wherever you're going
Wherever you're going
Wherever life takes you
I'll be there
In the forest of mirk where shadows abound
Where a friend stays true when noone's around
When the valley is cool and the water tastes sweet
Or when that sun beats down and your weak from the heat
Wherever you're going
Wherever you're going
Wherever life takes you
I'll be there
Reach out your hand, I'm at your side
I'll be a friend, but I can't be your guide
Wherever you're going
Wherever you're going
Wherever life takes you
I'll be there
Wherever you're going
Wherever you're going
Wherever life takes you
I'll be there

Grace and Mercy
03:58
|
|||
Grace and Mercy
Grace and mercy move the wind,
Feel it blow from you to me,
Touch the skin caress the soul
From where it comes nobody sees
Grace and mercy move the wind
Your flower dress sways and swirls
Forgiveness shining from your eyes
Your arms so strong around me girl
Grace and Mercy, Grace and Mercy
Move the wind, move the wind
Grace and Mercy, Grace and Mercy,
Move the wind, move the wind
Grace and mercy move the wind
Cool the firey tears of regret I cry
They fall into the pool of love we dive into,
The past behind
Grace and mercy move the wind
It blows a new beginning free
From ashes a new spark it flames
The fire of love from you to me
Grace and Mercy, Grace and Mercy
Move the wind, move the wind
Grace and Mercy, Grace and Mercy,
Move the wind, move the wind
Hey, I, I wanna love you girl!
Because you are gonna let me love you girl, again
Grace and mercy move the wind
You kiss so hard and from the heart
You let me know your here to stay
and from me you will not depart
Grace and Mercy, Grace and Mercy
Move the wind, move the wind
Grace and Mercy, Grace and Mercy,
Move the wind, move the wind

Unto Me
03:57
|
|||
Unto Me
I saw Christ last evening begging for some change
Lying in a doorstop calling out a name
I saw Christ last evening alone and in despair
Crying for a lost friend and drowning in His tears
Did you clothe Me, did you feed Me, did you give Me something to drink?
If you did it to the least of these, you did it unto Me,
Do you know Me, do you love Me, do you take the time to think,
When you do it to the least of these, you do it unto Me.
I saw Christ last evening, lying in a room
His body torn and broken, death was coming soon
I saw Christ last evening, naked in the cold
His belly round and bloated, and He held an empty bowl
Did you clothe Me, did you feed Me, did you give Me something to drink?
If you did it to the least of these, you did it unto Me,
Do you know Me, do you love Me, do you take the time to think,
If you do it to the least of these, you do it unto Me.
And If I look I'll see Him everywhere
In the local pub or in the lonely square
Wherever there is pain you know you'll find Him there,
Cause Jesus said the sick need help, a friend and love and care
I saw Christ last evening, a needle in His hand
His eyes withdrawn and empty, a thin and withered man
I saw Christ last evening, She was picking up some guy
Now She's trembling in the darkness with a far away look in Her eyes
Did you clothe Me, did you feed Me, did you give Me something to drink?
If you did it to the least of these, you did it unto Me,
Do you know Me, do you love Me, do you take the time to think,
If you do it to the least of these, you do it unto Me.

Promise Land
04:42
|
|||
Promised Land
This picture that I'm painting it is full of color
Thrown on a canvas with great expectation
This picture it is heavenly but I am just a man
Will I ever finish this painting called The Promise Land
Will I ever chose the right road?
Will I ever walk into that place?
Where my dreams are real and I feel your joy
Exploding on my face
Will I ever find the river that flows from the heart of God?
It's a painter's dream but by faith I believe
I will one day walk into the promise land.
Left up to me I'll mess it up.
Left up to me I'll surely miss it
This idea of grace is easy for me to understand
Won't let a moment go by when I don't try to catch your eye
Hear my prayer, I'm in despair
Rescue this drowning man.
Will I ever chose the right road?
Will I ever walk into that place?
Where my dreams are real and I feel your joy
Exploding on my face
Will I ever find the river that flows from the heart of God?
It's a searcher's dream and by faith I believe
I will one day walk into the promise land.
Abraham ...
I'm still a part of the plan
The son of man in grafted me
Now I have a covenant too
for the Promise Land.
Will I ever chose the right road?
Will I ever walk into that place?
Where my dreams are real and I feel your joy
Exploding on my face
Will I ever find the river that flows from the heart of God?
I know that it's more than a dream and by faith I believe
I will one day walk into the promise land.

The Journey
03:50
|
|||
The Journey
She's holding my hand,
stepping into new lands,
Feeling things for the very first time,
Leaving the past behind
Hoping the hope,
Swinging on a long rope,
Just enough to keep us climbing,
Into this love that we are finding.
This Journey is light
This journey is heat
This journey is spirit
This journey is feet
This journey is touch
This journey is taste
This journey's uncertain,
This journey of Faith.
We may cross some rivers,
That have never been crossed,
We may find some treasure,
That has long been lost
We may face some danger
That has never been seen,
But our love will grow stronger,
Deeper, harder and lean, yea..
This Journey is light
This journey is heat
This journey is spirit
This journey is feet
This journey is touch
This journey is taste
This journey's uncertain,
This journey of Faith.
We may find what we're looking for
Or we may find a whole lot more
Into the wild our hearts can believe
The Truth of the ages that will set us free
This Journey is light
This journey is heat
This journey is spirit
This journey is feet
This journey is touch
This journey is taste
This journey's uncertain,
This journey of Faith.

Foreign Land
04:03
|
|||
Foreign Land
Dog catcher goes by slowly, his empty truck rattles and shakes
At night this city is scary, oh the sounds the city makes
I came here looking for freedom, I left home and didn't look back
I ate, drank, and danced by the water, now I'm drowning in this sea of black
CH
Rattle my faith, shake my pride
Break my heart if You can
Uncover my fears, bring me low
You can even let go of my hand
But don't let me die, in this foreign land
I was easily led by my passion and it easily led me astray
It's easy to follow the fashions and loose yourself along the way
CH
Now it's a shame it took this much time for me to realize
The place You hold in my heart and the place I still hold at Your side
Cause I know my name is written in that book whose letter's are red
The same color that flowed down Your sweet brow
For my life that color was shed

Save Me
04:05
|
|||
Save Me
Nobody feel what they wanna feel
Nobody give like they wanna steal
Nobody love like they wanna love
Or live like they wanna live
Take a step outside that little world that you get numb in
Raise your voice and scream out loud
Save Me!
Hey You!
Touch me!
If You want to.
Nobody pray like they wanna pray
Nobody stay like they wanna stay
Nobody Try like they wanna try
Or change like they wanna change
Raise a glass to something other than the mirror baby
Hear the cries of those outside,
Save me!
Hey you!
Touch me,
If you want to.
Lose the frown,
Maybe dance around,
Hey laugh a bit and leave the crowd,
That wears the black,
Put on the green,
There are others ways to see...
Take outside that litle world that you get numb in,
Hear the cries of those outside
Save me,
Hey you,
Touch me,
If you want to,
love me if you want to,
If you want to..

Sorrow
04:36
|

Sorrow
You've got sorrow in your heart
But don't let it get you down
Some days you feel torn apart
Remember He's around
CH
He had sorrow upon sorrow
He knows how you feel
Don't hide your tears from the ancient of days
He knows your pain is real
He had sorrow upon sorrow
When the sun hides behind a cloud
and it gets cold inside your heart
remember He has felt it too,
That night His loved ones denied Him in the dark
CH
Don't run away man, you won't scare God
He can take anything you've got
He's walked this pathway before
The price for love has been paid
Listen to these words of hope
Remember them when you're low

The Silence of You
04:14
|
|||
The Silence of You
Is there always this quiet?
Does it all depend on me?
Your providence says no,
My reality disagrees
Thought we were doin fine
We were moving pretty good
But when I woke up this morning
I found a lonely fool
The Silence of You is the one thing I can depend on
Some days we're so close
But then You're gone
You say it's best for me and I cry for strength to get through
Listening ever so close
In this silence of You.
I guess I could complain
But I know that kind of thing will get me nowhere
Guess I'll just rejoice
In spite of the way I feel
Cause I know that You're here now
You're breath is upon me
And I tell myself
This nightmare isn't really real
The Silence of You is the one thing I can depend on
Some days we're so close
But then You're gone
You say it's best for me and I cry for strength to get through
Listening ever so close
In this silence of You.
Don't hide Your face too long
But don't come back too soon
Cause You know I want to grow
But my flesh won't give up this tune
It sings to me that You're gone for good but I don't listen
Cause I know I'm understood.
The Silence of You is the one thing I can depend on
Some days we're so close
But then You're gone
You say it's best for me and I cry for strength to get through
Listening ever so close
In this silence of You.

All The Diamonds
02:53
|
|||
All the diamonds in this world
That mean anything to me
Are conjured up by wind and sunlight
Sparkling on the sea
I ran aground in a harbour town
Lost the taste for being free
Thank God He sent some gull-chased ship
To carry me to sea
Two thousand years and half a world away
Dying trees still grow greener when you pray
Silver scales flash bright and fade
In reeds along the shore
Like a pearl in sea of liquid jade
His ship comes shining
Like a crystal swan in a sky of suns
His ship comes shining.
